The only ones that seemed remotely appealing where stam regen ones with heavy negative side effects. Also i think all artifacts where drastically nerfed in 2.2. Which means there must be a better armor in this version than the exo skeleten when all attachments factors are considered.īleeding has never really been an issue for me in 2.2 with bandages and or army med kits. I guess it was nerfed pretty hard for 2.2. Im sure it has decent rupture protection but the only thing that appears to work against ballistic bullet and or fragmentation is the plate attachments. It sound like things where drastically changed from 2.1 to 2.2.
Its fairly frustrating to finally realise that stacking of kevlar or steel plates is the best defense but no values are actually given in game.Īlso the values of armor exceed the scales in misery where past a certain point they will all have Max armor 100% but some will be weaker then others because the scale ends and there is no way to determine how much more armor you are getting with a green 100% armor value over a red 100% armor value. I have no idea how much armor or bullet penetration resistance these armor plates have (kevlar and steel) but its clearly the only thing that seems to work. Stacking of kevlar or steel plates seemes to be the only viable defense against bullets which when paired with camo seems to be the only effective answer. Seva seems to have the best overall protection and has 3 armor slots for extra carry weight or extra armor/ durability. Is it a trench coat with 5 steel plates ? or is it an Exo with nothing or is it something inbetween? So whats the best armor in terms of actual bullet protection regardless of rupture and or environmental effects as well as moderate camoflauge. I dont really understand the pourpose of the exo skeleton other than carrying extra weight and it can only carry maybe 10 more pounds than other fully upgraded armors and only has 1 armor attachment. So what really is the best armor with moderate armor, and environmental resistances but also with attachment slots of say 3+? High rating of camoflauge may seem none existant but when used in comparison to something with LOW camo there is clearly a difference. I also have experimented with the Ghillie suit on several playthroughs. My sunrise body suit with 3 steel plates seems to have double the protection of a fully upgraded EXO suit in terms of defense. I found that the only thing that actually prevents any sort of bullet penetration in this game is Kevlar or Steel plates.
So i spent the 210 thousand rubies and another 100 thousand to fully upgrade it only to go out and be 1 shot by the first hostile NPC that spotted me. In my current playthrough as assaulter i decieded to get an Exo suit thinking it may have some kind of defensive qualities outside of extra weight carried. I have played through Misery several times.
